Missing Fields in Project Web Access Project Detail View

I'm testing Project Pro and Project Web Access (2003 SP1). Everything
is working very smoothly--I've modified the Enterprise Global Template,
created custom project-level fields, created custom views in the web
Project Center and Project Pro, and published changes in these custom
fields. No errors have been reported.

There is one odd thing, however. When I select a project in Project
Center (web) and click the Edit button to see the Project Details
screen, not all data fields appear. Specifically, data fields that are
drop-downs with custom value lists do not appear on the Project Details
screen. Date fields and free text fields do appear and work fine. All
fields appear in the custom Project Center view that I created. And
I've entered data in every field.

Is this a Project limitation or bug? Or am I missing a critical setting
somewhere?

Thanks for any help

The behavior you see is by design, and is not a bug. When you click the
Edit button after selecting a project in the Project Center page, the system
does not allow you to see and edit fields containing value lists or
formulas. To modify those types of fields, you must open the actual project
plan in Microsoft Project Professional. Hope this helps.
