Missing file .cab

C

Caboman

After installing / upgrading from Office Pro 2000 to 2003, on Opening MS Word
there is an error message about a missing file:
w2561411.cab.
".......If installed from a CD, insert and continue."

However, file is still missing.

How do I resolve this missing file message?

Hi,

I understand that the file exists, but have you tried copying the .CAB file
to your harddisk and running setup from there, also, please check that the
copied verson has the hidden attribute removed (un-hidden).

Thanks,
g
