Missing file, SBCMSYNC.dll

Hugh N. Ross

When opening Office 2002 we get a message that SBCMSYNC.dll file cannot be
found. After clicking OK some operations work, but not all. I cannot find
the file on another machine that is working properly. How do I correct this
problem?
Help would be appreciated.

Is this machine an upgrade from Office 2000? If yes, then the Small
Business Customer Manager is the culprit. Go into Outlook's
Tools->OPtions->Other->Advanced and under the Add-in Manager, uncheck the
Outlook Synchronization box.
