I am having trouble installing MS Office Small Business Edition 2003.

I tried installing MS Ofc SBE 2003 on my new laptop. The package cam
w two disks. After installing the first disk (MS Ofc SBE 2003), I the
tried unsuccessfully to install the second disk (Business Contac
Manager Update). Here are the messages I got:

Message: Before you can install Business Contact Manager for Outlook
you must install MS Office Service Pack 1 (SP1) or later. SP1 i
included on Office CD2. Do you want to install SP1 now? I answere
"Yes".

Message: After installation of SP1 is complete, you will need t
restart the Business Contact Manager for Outlook Setup Wizard.

Message: Installation Error: File not Found. A required installatio
field SKU1CA.CAB could not be found.

Message: Original Installation Source Required: If you installed M
Office SBE 2003 from a CD, please insert your CD... once you hav
located your installation source, click "OK".

I then installed the MS Office SBE 2003 CD (first disk), and in th
"Browse" area, selected "Removable Disk (F)".

Message: Installation Error: File not found. A required installatio
field E2561412.CAB could not be found.

Message (repeat): Original Installation Source Required....

The first disk was still in my computer. It seems I am in some kind o
loop here, and am unable to complete my installation of MS Office SB
2003. This is a pity, because I'd like to try out their Busines
Contact Manager software, and I'd like to use Outlook for sending an
receiving emails, scheduling appointments, etc

I had the same error occur. I had updated my computer with the dreadful April
11 Microsoft updates. The error with the SKU1CA prevented me from launching
my Office Outlook in any way(and I was doing fine until those MS updates on
April 11). I ended up uninstalling Business Contact Manager from the CD
labelled Business Contact Manager(and uninstalled ALL April 11 updates from
Microsoft from my laptop). Thereafter, my laptop would launch Office Outlook
OK, but I have no Business Contact Manager loaded at all. I would also be
interested in others who may have fixes such that we could actually use the
Business Contact Manager and have the other programs work also.
