Missing Files

I am using the book "Microsoft Excel Data Analysis and Business Modeling"
ISBN 0-7356-1901-8 This is published by Microsoft. The CD rom is missing a
lot of the .xls files that are discussed in the book. I looked on the book's
corrections page that Microsoft has and the files are not there. This
includes Chapter 1, p.3 States.xls, p.5 HistoricalInvest.xls, p.7 Growth.xls,
and p.8 Sales.xls. In Chapter 3 p.16, Lookup.xls. None of these are on the CD
and there are more files missing. Does anyone know where I can download these
files?

AFAIK, you can't read the files from the CD directly. You have to allow them
to be installed to your hard drive. (via AutoRun or StartCD.exe).

Once installed there are 3 directories. "Templates for Chapter Examples"
contains your work-along files. "Completed Worksheets for Chapter Examples"
are the "final" versions of the template files. There is also a folder with
"Solutions for Chapter problems"

I have "template" and "completed" copies of all the files you mentioned. I
suggest you try again.

Dear George,

I have run the CD to install the data files. You list folders being
installed that my disk does not install. I do not have any of the folders
listed below.

"Templates for Chapter Examples"
"Completed Worksheets for Chapter Examples"
"Solutions for Chapter problems"

My CD installs the folders:
C:\seexcel\examples\chptwkbks
C:\seexcel\examples\general
C:\seexcel\examples\tearcard

My CD has the following serial numbers printed on it.
Assy. No. X10-21802
Label No. X10-21804

Where can I get the folders and files you listed?
