Missing folders in PST file

I forward all e-mail messages to a separate PST file
accessible by multiple users. All was fine until this
morning when the subfolder structure disappeared with all
stored e-mails. Ran scanpst.exe which reported no errors
and five folders, but when I open this PST using Outlook
there are only two empty folders shown. When I open this
PST using Notepad, the emails are there. File size is 6M
so the file seems to contanin my contact and stored
email. Can anybody help me recover this data so that it
can be used again in Outlook?
