Missing graphics

When I email a newsletter created in Word to my client, all they see is a
small box with a red X in it where the graphic should be. Why? But when I
email it to my other email address, the graphics show up fine.

Are the graphics embedded in the document or linked? If your other email
address is on the same machine, then the link will work for you, but not for
someone who receives the document on a different machine.

The best way is to convert the document to a .pdf file and email that.
There are free PDF converters that you can use such as PrimoPDF. Use Google
to locate them.
