Missing Guidelines for all label templates...

S

Snuggy

Hi there- I'm hoping someone can help me!

A few months ago, a friend was using my computer (a G5 imac desktop)
and was working in Microsoft word (2004) notebook layout. He claims
that is the only thing he did different, however, next time I opened
word, my label template guidelines went missing. They no longer show
up.. on old and new documents. Word is keeping all the formatting but
I can't see any of it which makes it near impossible to now use these
built in templates.

I searched HELP and found no guidance. Any ideas? Anyone? Is there a
Help number I can call?

THANK YOU!!

Have you turned ON invisibles?

Labels template are actually tables with invisible lines. Go to Word
Preferences and check View>text boundaries.

Sorry, forgot to add that you have to be in Page Layout View to see the
boundaries.

You might also want to check Table>Gridlines... It isn't clear what
"guidelines" you mean :)

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!! I've been suffering for MONTHS! I'm so glad to
have found this group. :) What worked was the Table> gridlines. I
couldn't see or find the invisibles stuff or the View>Text Boundaries.
But, it seems to be back in working order. You guys rock!

Happy New Year!

If it's "fixed", don't "break it"!
