missing hyptertext links

I've used Publisher for over a year and never had this problem before in
updating my church's website. I added a page, updated info, and re-published
to the web through File Export Web Page. I then upload those files to the
website via WS-FTP Pro. 2 or 3 of the files are erroring out, not finishing,
and/or asking to replace an older with newer version, but the files I'm
uploading ARE the newer version. When I go to the internet to check it out,
there are hyptertext links missing that WERE in my files, but for some reason
are not carrying over to the internet. I have a home page, but no working
links to the other 9 pages. I really don't know what happened. Can anyone
help? I have to get this webpage back up and running.

I already tried that about a dozen times. Didn't help or change anything.
I'm even having trouble getting the links to work in a web page preview. :(

It is unclear from your description exactly which hyperlinks no longer work.
Under Tools, run the design checker to see if that tells you what you did to
the design to create the problems. If you overlap some design elements with
text boxes with hyperlinks, that can kill hyperlinks, as one example.
Consider what you did when you edited the file, that broke the hyperlink,
and perhaps that will lead to the solution of how to fix it.

It also sounds like you may have broken the wizard built navbar when you
added the page. You might be able to repair it. Go to that page in your Pub
file, tools, web page options. Uncheck the option to "add hyperlink to new
navigation bars...", and the navbar should update itself and pull the page
from the navbar. Then do the reverse, check the option and the navbar should
update and add in that page.

You can also select the navbar, click the little wand that appears below,
and then to the left of your page > Change Navigation bar, click Add,
Remove, and reorder links. That will bring up a Navigation Bar Properties
dialog where you can Add, Remove, move or modify links....

And, go to Help and type in "navigation" and read the material provided, and
that might give you some insight into what is going wrong.

And if none of that helps, post the URL of your website, and specify exactly
which links are not working.

The suggestions given were not able to be followed because my menu bars don't
have the same commands as given in the post. I got so frustrated, I started
completely over with a new document and copy and pasted my text, etc. into
the new document. I uploade via WS-FTP Pro 7 and it's working fine now. I
have no idea what I did, but I sure hope I don't do it again because it's
taken me 2 or 3 days to get it fixed.

I am glad you got it working. Next time post the version of Publisher that
you are using, and I won't assume that it is Pub 2003.
