Missing images, paste vs. insert, oddity

Hi kids. I know this has been asked a trillion times, but this one is
[maybe] a little different. I have a user that used copy/past to
insert a an internet scavenged image into her presentation.

That image show up on multiple PCs and laptops, but heres at home - not
a red X, just no image. I always thought that the broken image link,
missing picture scenerio was kind of all or noe - either it worked or
it didnt. I did not think it was computer specific. Thoughts?

Does the PC at home have a firewall? Or some other special security settings?

What operating system at home? What version of PowerPoint?

Ahhh, the Great Baud factor. I will suggest your suggestion. However,
what is the reasoning behind your suggestion? ;^) Why would a copies
image work on some but not other systems Thjat is question

The Great Baud (pay no attention to the middle aged man behind that curtain) is
punishing her for lifting images off the net. ;-)

Try this: on a PC where it does work, select the image, choose Edit, Copy.
Then choose Edit, Paste Special and pick PNG or JPG, whichever's more apt for
the image in question. Delete the original, reposition the pasted one to
taste, save the presentation.

I think that should fix it.
