Missing "Insert Page number"

I have been using word professionally for ages; I've just recently switched
to Mac and now I'm using Word 2004, Italian localized version.
Something weird... In the Insert Menu there is no "Page Number" voice...?
Where has it gone???
Any suggestion???

If you see Word 5.1 Menus in the middle of the View menu, choose it.
(This will turn Word 5.1 Menus *off*, and the Page Number menu item
should then reappear.)

If not, then try using the menu customization feature to revert to the
default menus.

BTW, what is this 5.1 feature?

It is a secret mode, with a whole different set of menus and toolbars,
that you can easily fall into by typing control-8 or control-5
accidentally. I think it is for people who never grew up and don't want
to see any features that were not present in Word 5.1. But Microsoft
should have made it much harder to enable, because users fall into it
accidentally all the time and then can't figure out where their menus
went. LIke you! m.
