Missing Issues and Risks

It appears that when a project is published under a sub-site, rather
than under the PWA root site, the Issues and Risks Center will not
see
the issues or risks assigned in that project. Said another way, if
the project is published under http://server/pwa, any issues assigned
to me in the project will appear in the root site's Issues/Risks
reminder, and in the Issues and Risks Center. If the project is
published under a site http://server/pwa/subsite/, and the project
has
issues assigned to me, I can't see them in the reminder or in the I&R
Center. Tasks assigned in projects published to the sub-site do
percolate up to the reminder and can be seen in My Tasks, but the
Issues and Risks do not. Is that a bug, or is there something I'm
missing?

Please provide some details in the server enviroment/versions.

asuming you are on PS 2007 SP1 +..
1. when you publish the project - do you get any WSS/RSS sync erros in the
ULS or Event logs?
2. Have you customised your issues / risks list filds (e.g. status), or
changed template lists that you use to provision worspaces?
3. do your issues/risks lists have 'owner' field populated (there are couple
that are mandatory, swithicn them off can cause this behaviour)?

Thanks for the reply Vaso:

1. No WSS/RSS sync errors occur in the logs, and Tasks are getting
populated just fine.

2. We've done no customization of the issues/risks list fields for
either the root site, or the individual projects.

3. We have some projects that specify owner when filling out a issue,
and some that don't, but the field is not disabled/removed for any of
our projects.

We are using PS2007 SP1.

Issues for projects that are published to the root site show up in the
list, so I assume that it's a WSS issue/rollup problem with the lists,
but I have no evidence in the logs that there's a problem. I was just
hoping someone had seen this behavior before and could suggest a
simple fix. Any suggestions?
