I get an error message trying to run my student disk for the course I'm taking.
It has something to do with loading ms office 2007. I keep getting an error
message even when I load the 'patch' I was given by the prg help desk. They
haven't been able to assist me.
Can anyone help me?

Yes, I have a new laptop with a free (for now) norton internet security
running. I have the patch on my desktop (like I'm supposed to) and have
changed properties the permissions to allow all. Can you help me?

Thanks Peter - I wasn't sure that was the problem, as I had the error message
on my desk computer and laptop, but only had NIS on my laptop. You gave me
the idea of un-installing MS Office 2007 on my desk computer. It worked!!
After I finish this course I will re-install the prg on my desk computer -
lol. Thanks for your help.

I am getting the "MSVCR80.dll was not found" message trying to star
Outlook 2007 on my new laptop running Vista. I am running Mcafee as m
virus shield software. I can't open Outlook so I can't check add-ons o
any settings in the application. Is the solution for me to uninstal
and re-install Office
