Hi
I have a very similar problem - it seems that publisher is saving the pages with references to files on my PC and not the website. When I tried the links on your site it was asking for ftp login details.
I will let you know how I get on.
Regards

Missing links
07-Jul-09
I have created a web site in Publisher which was working fine but now the
main links to the various sections and the list across the bottom of each
page which has links to all the pages has disappeared when SOME people open
the website
In our office with 5 pcs the links are visible on three and not on 2!
I am guessing it's some setting on the two pc's on which it's not visible
but am now worried that they will not be visible to the general public
Anyone come across this before
The website is
www.alparchitects.co.uk - see if you can see the links at the
top left which read Home, Residential Projects, Development Projects etc
Thanks

What version of publisher are you using? My best guess is that some of the
users have upgraded to IE 8. If so there is a procedure to use in publisher
to correct your situation

Publisher 2007 has two choices
Update to the latest service pack which will make the htm files compatible
to IE
O
Create a web site with nav bars etc
Saved web site as "My web site.pub
With the pub page ope
Ctrl a (selects all
This insures that all groups are ungroupe
This must be done on ALL pages individuall
Re-Saved using Save As "My web site NBUG.pub
I take the step to "Save As" so that when I shut down publisher and I get
prompt to save my changes I do NOT overwrite the master file "My we
site.pub" accidentally
Publish to the we
FTP to the serve
Web site works using IE
If a change, update is required or a page is adde
Open with "My web site.pub
Make change
Follow the above suggestion
BTW NBUG = "Nav Bars Un Grouped
