Hi there

Please can someone help me!
I loaded an e-amil account onto Microsoft outlook that has not been used in
a while but was still active and I received a sucsessful Test Message when
setting the account up.
I then started downloading my e-mails which I watched dowload in bottom
right! Once it was complete it said "Send/Receive complete".
The mails did not go into my inbox or any other folders in my outlook. I
sent a email from me to me and did not get the email but the sent one was in
my sent items.

Later on discovered I had a problem with the installation of Microsoft
Outlook on my pc - but still if my mails downloaded they must be on my pc
somewhere right??? Please assist me they are work relarted emails I need to
recover!

Many thanks

Version of Outlook?
Mail account type?
Are you using a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook?

Hi Roady

Thank you so much for replying.
I am using Microsoft Office Professioanal Adition 2003.
Account Type is POP3 and I have no idea about the anti virus thing I know we
do have a antivirus on the pc but not sure about its settings.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Virus scanners which integrate with Outlook are often a cause of message
going lost. You should check with the documentation of your virus scanner or
contact their support on how to disable it properly.

Since you are using POP3, you might want to set the option to leave a copy
on the server while investigating this issue.
