Missing MAINSP3 from Office 2003 after HD transfer

I installed a new hard drive, transferred all data from the old drivein, and
deleted teh data on the old drive. In the process, it appears that MAINSP3
was lost. Now, I cannot remove the Office installation or do anything else
with it. I renamed How do I remove it or the related registry entries to
allow me to reinstall?

I tried renaming Office>11.0 in the registry to old11.0. Upon reinstall, it
asks for serial number but won't accept it.

Thanks for any help.

DL,
1) I used Maxtor's transfer utility made for this purpose.
2) I am getting the S/N from the Office CD package.
