Missing MC561403 cab file

L

Littlebear

I can't use Clip Art in other 2003 programs since installing Visio Pro 2003.
System keeps trying to find a MC561403 cab file. I've put installation disk
in disk drive, but it still can't locate.

Anyone know of a fix?

Thank you.

When you get the message for a missing cab, does it ask for the Office or
Visio disk? You should be able to fix this by inserting the disk it asks
for. When you install Office 2003 or any of the standalone office 2003 apps
like Visio, Project, FrontPage, etc... by default it dumps a compressed
copy of the installation CD (called the Local Installation Source or LIS
for short) to the hard drive in a hidden folder called MSOCache. That
compressed copy can get corrupt and ususally causes that. As long as you
have your installation CD you should be good. If all else fails, uninstall
and re-install Office.

There's a description of the Local Installation Source at
