missing menu bar in visio

I had both Visio and Word open and after working in Word a bit, went back to
Visio and the entire menu bar is missing. All I get is the page I'm working
on. No help, file, tools... nothing. I've repaired using the install CD,
I've uninstalled and reinstalled Visio and nothing is happening. I have
Visio 2003. Can anybody help?

In Visio, right-click on a free space in the top where the toolbars usually
are placed, and select "Customize" - now you will see a "toolbar" that is not
available on the list that you first saw when you right-clicked - "Menu bar".

Tick "Menu bar" and then you can close the dialogue and then you should see
the menu again.
