I'm experiencing the following problem while using Word
2002:
I have a global template in which I store a number of
macros in various modules. I've opened that template and
added custom menus and custom menu items to some of the
existing Word (e.g., the 'File' menu). I've added these
using Tools > Customize. I want these menus and menu
items present whenever the template is loaded as an add-
in.
For some reason, though, none of those menus or menu
items appear. Yes, the template is currently loaded as an
add-in. I noticed that those menus are retained if I make
the same changes to the Normal template, but this is an
unnacceptable solution. I should also note that some
months ago I experimented with using VBA to edit the
contents of menus at run-time. I abandoned that effort
after facing numerous frustrations. I add this detail in
case anyone knows of a way I might have set a property
that is now conflicting with my goals.
Can anyone help me?
