Missing menu

In office 2001 for mac I have the issue of my drop down
menus going missing. An example is when I go to the
Insert menu and go down to the picture option the drop
down or slide out menu (not sure what the proper term is)
will not show. I have tried resetting the prefs to no
avail. Is there a trick to fixing this without
reinstalling.

It contains a procedure for restoring your menus in Word 2001, as well as
some alternate tips if the standard procedure fails.

(Be sure you're not running PICTify 1.5; as you will read on the page, that
is known to cause this sort of issue.)

Have you gotten any response to this post? I am having
the eproblem!! All pull-down menus have disappeared
inexplicably! If you have gotten any feedback or have
been able to remedy the problem, I would greatly
appreciate help.
