missing message

Microsoft Windows XP Pro sp3, Outlook 2007

I had two messages from a single sender, both with the same title. I read
one then did something else. When I came back to Outlook, one of the
messages disappeared. What did I do wrong? Where did it go? How do I get
it back.

Michael Bauer [MVP - Outlook]

See if there's a filter hiding read messages. Or maybe you hit accidentally
the delete button, then the message is in your Deleted Items folder.
