I am trying to set-up an InfoPath form that links to a MS Access database. I used the user permissions wizard in the Access database to set-up a new workgroup with users, groups, and permissions set.

But now when I try to link an InfoPath form to the database I get a window that pops up named "Data Link Properties". If I enter my user name and password I get an error that says "InfoPath cannot connect to the data source. Workgroup file is missing or opened exclusivly by another user." But the workgroup file (named security.mdw) is not missing and not opened by anyone.

Can anyone help me?

You need to specify which workgroup file you want to use when opening the
database. You can do this in the Data Link dialog on the All tab by
specifying the path to the workgroup information file for the Jet
OLEDB:System Database property.

Hope this helps.
