Thanks for replying Russ. Well, I can't tell you how or when the files
went
missing, I can tell you that I am viewing all hidden and protected
operating
system files when looking for these files. In the Advanced email options,
under the "When sending a message" section, all options are enabled except
for the first one which is "Messages expire after days". Is there
anywhere else to enable/disable this feature?
Autocomplete not working doesn't bother me much but it is happening to
another user in the office. The same circumstances exist on her computer
as
well. Another thing I found is there are 2 other files missing as well
and
they are "Outlook and/or user profile .srs" and "Outlook and/or user
profile
.xml" but I don't think they have anything to do with the autocomplete
feature. The feature is working fine for other users in the office.
The only other thing I have done is to create an outlook folder in the "My
Documents" folder and move the .pst files to that outlook folder and the
"My
Documents" folder has been rediected to a network share. This has been
done
for all users in the office. We are also using BCM if that could have any
impact on the situation. Thanks again.

That's not the problem. If you enabled autocompletion then you have an
NK2
file. It cannot be otherwise. They are hidden files. Tell us the rest of
the
story.

I use Outlook 2007 and I do not have the Outlook.NK2 nor the "user
profile".NK2 files in my outlook folder and therefore autocomplete does
not
work. Can I just copy that file from a different computer or will I
have
to
create a new profile or something else? Any and all help is greatly
appreciated.
