Missing Office Links

Hi

Does anybody know why the Office Links in Offiice 2000 should grey out? Full
installation of Office 2000 Pro.
Normally merges fine from Access to Word, but now all of the Office Links
are greyed out.

Can;t find anything on the Microsoft Knowledgebase.

Any help appreciated.

Do you have a table or query selected when you utilize the Office
Links command?

Hi Beth

In this particular case, we have a report preview on screen and want to
email it in rtf format.
Usually works OK, but on this one "rogue" machine, it has stopped working.

This could be caused by several things but first have you tried using
"Detect and Repair" found under the Help menu?

Thanks for responding. My reply of yesterday failed to get through...

In this particular case, we have a report prview on screen and are trying to
email it in rtf format.
The email link is grayed out on this particular machine, though it has
previously been OK.

It came through on my end. Did you try what I suggested in the
post you replied to? Have you first tried using Detect and Repair
under the Help menu?
