Missing Office shortcut bar

My computer is missing the Office shortcut bar - it's not
that it's not showing; it's actually missing the files
necessary. I don't have the disk to reinstall. Is there
anywhere I can download the necessary files?

That feature was discontinued. I've been told if you have the original
Office disk that still provides the shortcut bar you can install it from
there and use it with Office all the way up to 2003.

Wrong! The Shortcut Bar apparenntly will not be a part of Office 2003, but it
is in Office XP and previous versions. If you have a legal copy, i.e. you have
a valid Product Key which was used to install the S/W, you can use any copy of
your version of Office(you didn't say which one you use) to run setup and
install the SC Bar. If Office is installed and running you can display the Key
with KeyFinder, free from www.magicaljellybean.com. But...when last I checked
it didn't work for 2000.

Sorry if I misspoke. I haven't used the shortcut bar in Office XP and
accepted the word of another beta tester that it was discontinued in that
version.

No prob. we've all ass-umed something in error...more than once in my case<G>.
I usually just chalk it all up to "magic."
