Missing Outlook 2007 Folders

I set up a new HDD ( I can opnly put in 1 HDD at a time,so the new HDD will
be C:.) . I set up all my programs, then transferred over my Outlook 2007
..pst file by copying form my old HDD to the new one. The transfer was done
through my home network, by using another computer HDD and copying to it,
then copying it back to the new HDD

I got Outlook on the new HDD to find the correct file, but the only folders
that transferred across properly are the address book and the Sent Message
folders. The rest of the folders ( all my "custom" folders) AND my Calendar
entries are missing. If I go look at my old HDD with the Outlook program and
old .pst files, I find all the data is still there. I have checked the new
file for errors ( scanpst.exe) which found some errors, but there seems to be
no change on the missing folders.

Any Ideas?
Thanks

are you sure you moved the correct pst?

Always possible I messed up, but it was the only .pst file I could find on
my machine....... and since the sent messages are all there, I assume I did
move the correct file...... ( note... outlook.pst is the file that was used.)

Are there other files I should have moved for the other folders?

Attacking this a totally different way, is there a way to "hide" Outlook
folders so they are not visible in the window ? How is this done ( or best
yet, undone)?
Thanks

mail won't get lost when you move the pst - are you sure you were looking in
the right foldersi in outlook? ctrl_6 to see the entire folder list and all
psts in the profile.

By default, the pst are stored in a folder that is hidden from windows
explorer. you can only see them if you set win explorer to show hidden files
and folders.
in win xp outlook uses these folders for files:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook

Diane, thanks for the response......

Yes, I am looking at the right folder. Remember, I can see my SENT files,
just none of the other folders nor their contents seem to be there. That
poroves to me that I am pointing to the right file.
