missing outlook.pst file

Hello
I've just reinstalled XP Pro on my Tecra M2 and Office 2003 (acedemic
version). Prior to doing this I thought I took enough precautions, exporting
my contacts, inbox, sent items and some other grouped email folders and
calendar via the export mode as backup .pst files and copied my archive.pst
file to to CD. I also used the save my office setting wizard so it would all
look and work the same on a reinstall. Obviously I copied my docs also.
Reinstall of XP went well, internet and home network all connected fine.
Reinstalled Norton AV 2006 and then installed Office. I then used th ewizard
to import the settings. I think now that I might have jumped the gun on that
one. When I try to open Outlook an error meeage comes up saying the
outlook.pst file is missing from the use/docs & setting...etc location. I
thought by importing the settings I would not have to set up my emial account
all over again as well as the other office applications looking and
functioning the same. I have removed Office throught he add/remove option
and reinstalled but it seems that XP has remebered my earlier use of the
settings wizard - if in fact that is the problem. Word worked fine - I tried
this befor Outlook an dthat activated Office with MS. Sorry if this is a bit
long winded but thought it better to try and record everything - can anyone
suggest what I may do to be outlook working - I did not save a outlook.pst
file from before the reinstall of XP Pro.
Thanks you - Eddie
