missing pdf attachments

I am operating with Windows xp at Home, outlook 2003 beta 2 and outlook
express

I have subscribed to a service (word tips weekly) which I get once a week.
The service sends a pdf attachment to each week's edition. I discover that
I have received the tips but no attachments..which surprises me because I
didn't think that either client would block a pdf..
What can I do, if anything?
