Missing Records

S

sabotage???

Ok, I think my old boss tried to make 'her' database useless to us when she
left. Although there are over 2200 records entered into my first table only
2150 are showing up in my second table that is linked to the first one. Yet
when I click the combo box (in the second table) the numbers go all the way
to the proper number, however, the records count at the bottom only holds
2150. I have checked all the relationships and they seem to be fine and there
are no filters on. I am very new to access and any help would be great.

When you create a query joining two tables, the join can be "equal" or
"directional". An "equal" join only shows records when there are matching
values in both tables. The "directional" join basically tells Access to
"show me all selected records from one table, and ANY matching record/field
from the other table".

I would first look at the query that joins the two tables to see which type
it is...
