missing scroll bars

I have a workbook where some of the pages are missing the scroll bar at the
bottom. Where did it go? I have 40+ columns and the only way to get to the
columns off the page is to "arrow over" to them. When I split the page one
side has the scroll bar and the other side does not.

Check the Preferences/View/Horizontal scroll bar setting.

Hi John-

Another consideration is that when you use the Split feature, it
depends on how much screen space is available to display the scroll
bar. If the "missing" bscroll bar is the one on the Left, just look a
little closer. The scroll bar is there, but there may only be enough
space to display it's <> buttons and not the bar itself. One other
idea- if you haven't tried the Freeze Panes feature it may be
preferable to Split.

Good Luck!

Much more likely than my suggestion - I didn't trip to the Split.
