Some of my emails don't appear in my sent items folder. It does not affect all the emails I send it just seems to pick them randomly. It always seems to be one that I want to find. Does anyone know why this happens? Is there a fix for it? Thanks

Are you checking Sent Items both "On my computer" and in the IMAP folders
for the account? The mails should appear in one place or the other.

You might want to check the "Advanced" tab in your Account settings to see
where it is putting Sent Mail.

Thanks I've checked both & they're not there. All sent mail should go to my sent items. Everything does it just seems to have a lost about 4 emails very randomly & I'm not sure why.

I have a similar problem. I have a 2.66 GHZ Inten iMAc with Enrourage 2008 using Gmail to host my own domain's mail. It was keeping all items in the imap/sent folder as I'd configured, but then stopped doing so. When I search for the mail, I can see them but they still do not appear in the imap sent items folder.

When logging on to Gmail, I can see all messages in the sent folder.

I can see them but they still do not appear in the imap sent items folder.

Control click on the IMAP folder, select "Refresh Message List" and/or
"Repair Message List".

Was it the refresh/repair? Feedback from what works helps us know what to
suggest for other users. Glad things are working for you now.

In the end, I gave up with imap and went back to POP3 mailboxes. I tried the refresh message list, also tried to repair, verify the database, all came back ok but messages were still not displayed.

Will just bear this in mind and not use imap, not until MS provide better support for it.
