When launching Word 2003 from any location on my Xp Pro pc (start menu,
desktop shortcut, office 11 directory), I get a Missing Shortcut pop-up, and
the program is looking for Outlook.exe. If I cancel a couple of times, it
lets me into Word and I am able to work fine until I close the app. and then
launch it the next time.
I have already deleted and created new shortcuts and run Detect & Repair,
but cannot figure out why Word would be looking for outlook.exe. I also do
not see anything out of the ordinary in the registry. This does not happen
with any other Office programs installed, either, only Word.
Suggestions?
