missing sounds

My home computer is now equipped with Office XP 2002. It
comes with power point. Power Point is supposed to have
at least a couple hundred sounds that supposedly come
with it. For some unknown reason the only sounds my power
point generates is the few sounds that came with my XP.
Every time I try to use the sound effects it tells me the
sounds are on a seperate disk. I need to know what is the
name of the program I need to purchase that has all those
sounds on it?

W H,

Perhaps that when they built your PC with Office XP/2002 they did a
"default" install. This could explain why there are no extra sounds for
powerpoint.

What you could do is....when you go to use the extra sounds...it ask for a
seperate disk, insert the original office xp CD, then it should install the
sounds for you.

Failing that...run setup from the Office XP CD....then do a "custom
install"...to add the extra sound/media

There are also several HUNDRED sounds you can download
free from the Clip Art Live section of the Microsoft site,
and you can insert them into PowerPoint slides.
