missing submenus in office 2000 / Windows XP

I am missing submenus in all Office 2000 applications for my Windows XP
OS computer. I am further missing submenus in the Start-> Programs as
well. How can I fix this?

have you run all of the updates for office 2000? there are several service
packs and security updates that needed to be done for office 2000, I am also
running office 2000 as well.

and if that doesn't do the trick, do a repair/reinstall of the office
program.

and lastly, if that didn't do the trick, then you are going to have to
uninstall and then restart, THEN reinstall the office program.

remember, after you reinstall the office program, make sure that you defrag
your computer so that it will always run efficiently.
