First off I want to thank EVERYONE for their responses.
Now to respond back to everyone.
JOHN,
I can go into design mode and expression builder and
click the plus sign next to tables and see my table name
and access data.
BRYAN,
The table is fully functional, I have been entering data
under the current conditions now for about a month. I
already had some reports generated before I lost the
table and I can still run those reports and pull up
current information.
The table was not linked and it is the only table in the
database.
DEBBIE,
I tried what you said but when the window comes up for
selecting what I want to import, the tables are not
listed hence I can't import them.
GARY,
Yep! The only table. Really weird.
Now for some additional information that I have
discovered since my original post. If I create a new
table in this database it also is not displayed in the
table list and cannot be accessed by any of the other
functions such as queries, reports, forms etc.
The end results are the same, I can see it in expression
builder and so forth. It acts within the database the
same as the original table.
I hope that this sheds more light on what is happening.
