Missing target folders for Import or Export (Outlook 2003)

Howdy!

Outlook 2003 / SP2 / WinXP
Attempting to export some contacts:
(the first time through it told me the translator was not yet installed, and
I chose YES to install)
- File / Import and Export / Choose Export to a File / File Type CSV /
Select Folder to Export from ....... it's empty (and does not show any of my
PST folders)

Perfromed a REPAIR and a REINSTALL and same symptoms.

Any ideas?
