Missing teammembers on Issue creation page

We have Project Server 2003 (SP1) installed.
As a project(team) has been created in Professional, issues can be assigned
to the team via PWA. However, as I add a new teammember in Professional (and
'Republish Assignments') I don't see that person in the 'Assign To' list of
the Create new Issue page.
Such persons are identified as Users in PS and as Resources in the project.
This problem ocours in more than 1 project.

What is it we do wrong?

You should try synchronizing your users.

Open up PWA, go to the "Admin" page/area (or get your Project Admin
involved), select the "Manage Windows SharePoint Services" action, then the
"Manage SharePoint Sites" action. Then select from the list of sites the
site that seems to be "out of synch", and click the "Synchronize" button.

That should do the trick...

Hi Jame,

Thanks for your input. I have tried it and indeed, the resource was available.
However, after synchronizing not only the project members but ALL resources
in the central resource pool showed up in the 'assign to' list.

Is this a common problem?
