I'm running XP Professional with XP Office (2002) installed. All of a
sudden when I try to open Word documents a window comes up instructing
me to select the encoding that makes my document readable. On the top
of this window it says "file conversion ~TbRun9.dot." The radio button
is preselected to Windows (default). When I click on the "ok" tab,
another window comes up saying that the "add-in template is not
valid." When I again select ok, the document comes up as it should.
This is not an Earth-shattering problem since the document does come
in, but is vastly annoying. I've done everything short of uninstalling
and reinstalling (I did a reinstall, a fix it, all that stuff). Any
ideas of what went wrong??
