Missing text in email attachment

We attach to email certain .TXT delimited files. When the
receipiant opens them (notepad) they are missing small
sections of the text. Everytime we resend, the same text
ends up missing. But if we send it to my Netzero account
(and I open it from their website) NO text is lost. What
could be causing this?
