Missing text in updated meeting invites

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

When I receive a meeting invite that has been updated (so Exchange inserts the word "Updated" at the start of the title) text in the body of the message does not display.

I know text should be there, because I can see it when I look at the invite using webmail.

Any ideas?
