I am trying to install office 2000 on a clean install of windows 2000 pro
and I get an error box that says
Error 1305 error reading from file c:\winnt\fonts\bkant.ttf
The installation gives no options but retry (which just brings up the error
box) and cancel (which cancels the installation). Is there someplace to get
these files? Is there a way around having to install them in the first
place? I tried a custom install with everything checked to run on my
computer, I tried a typical install, and I tried a custom install with just
a few extras. They all end with the error box.
What else can I do? Laptop is pretty useless without some sort of
productivity suite on it.
