Missing VBA screen tips

Screen tips are no longer displaying when in break mode and cursor hovers
over a variable/expression.

How can this be fixed please?

at me this sometimes happens when exists compile error. so try to compile
whole project.
anyway - you can also test variables values in immediate window, using
debug.print

Thanks Alex,

I thought a compile error may be the cause, however I get it in all
databases, including those that have three lines of code in one module.
Perhaps I'll remove Office and re-install everything again.

Hi Alex,
Just an update on my problem, also for anyone else who's looking for the
solution.

The problem was traced to a program running in the background. In my case it
was a utility for my Chaintech Motherboard. Stopped it from running and the
VBA data tips came back.
