Missing Word derived objects in upgrade to PowerPoint2003

I created a presentation with an older version of PowerPoint and when I view
the PowerPoint in 2003 version, all the word doc pastes (selected in Word,
then copy, paste on blank slide in PowerPoint - not linked - copied and
pasted) are blank with a red x in the top left corner of the object. When I
edit the object in PowerPoint2003, the text and columns show up but returns
to a blank object after the edit. When I run a screen show all the Word
derived objects are blank on the screen. Here's the kicker, this occurs in
all limited user accounts, in the administrator account everything is correct
(I have WinXP home). Very frustrated. Help.
All critical updates to WinXP and Office2003 have been applied.

Thanks for the link Luc. None of the solutions in that link are applicable.
The object is not linked, it was a paste from a Word document. Fast saves is
off. I have the most updated SP2 for PowerPoint 2003, file is on my c:
drive, resources are not an issue. Addtionally, this problem is reproducible
- in the sense that all presentations constructed in PowerPoint97 that
contain tables (rows & columns) selected from Word and pasted into the slide
in PowerPoint, now appear as red-x objects in PowerPoint 2003 when
viewed/edited in a limited user account.

As the computer administrator, the objects display correctly, but as any
limited user account (even the author/owner of the PowerPoint file) the
object appears as a red x. If I double click the object (edit) it appear
normal in the Word editor, but once finished editing, the object returns to a
red x.

Further, if I redo the copy/paste using Word 2003 to PowerPoint 2003, then
the object displays correctly (in a limited user account). But there is no
time to redo all these presentations.

Background: My wife is a nurse educator and she has over 50 PowerPoint
presentations that have this problem. The hospital uses Word to construct
forms for staff to enter data into and these PowerPoints are used to teach
staff how to fill out the forms. Thus she highlights sections of the Word
form and copy/pastes them into PowerPoint. I recently upgraded our home PC
to WinXp and Office 2003 and now all these Word pasted objects appear as red
x's in her limited user account. Further, the objects do not display at all
during a slideshow (in any limited user account).
