Hello, everyone. I will ask for your patience and
request some very appreciated assistance if anyone has
experience with the same incidence.
Error Message Reads:
"The installation cannot be activated because you have
activated up to the limit of your product key liscense.
For details on your maximum allowed activations for this
product key refer to your End User Agreement."
I received my new Laptop and wanted to make sure that I
had the compatible updated programs on both the lap top
and my existing home computer. I loaded my bundled
software (Professional Edition Office 2003) on my home
computer that currently had Windows XP and Office 2000.
I was unaware of the mistake until the error message
appeared after loading the disc and clicking install. I
understand now that I shouldn't have taken these steps
but now the Professional Edition Office 2003 will NOT
uninstall so that I can reinstall Office 2000. It says
that it will go into a "limited function" mode after a
few uses. (this is due to my having installed the max
limit of activations on my lap top) It will prevent me
from functioning at my job if this happens. Can you
PLEASE (I'm begging for your understanding) help me
understand how to solve this issue and return to normal
function.
Thank you so much for your time and attention. It is
very appreciated.
