Mivrosoft Office 2000 Professional

I am recovering from a huge crash that corrupted disc2 of
my MS Office Professional that lost MS Publisher,
Microsoft Small Business Tools, and Shared Clip Art. Do
you have any suggestions on how to proceed? This is
probably not the forum to expect an answer, but it is as
close as I could find.

Did you reinstall? When the activation window comes up, use the phone number and
explain the situation.
If your disk is damaged, Microsoft will replace damaged disks. I don't understand how
a disk gets corrupt in a crash.

After managing to set up OE-QuoteFix on his new PC, Ed reads a message
from Mary Sauer said:

People refer to just about anything as a "crash" these days - system
failure, power spike frying some internal component, anything
My bets would be on that his disc (CDs are Discs, Floppies and HDs are
Disks) was already damaged before the so-called "crash", but having to
reinstall has alerted the OP to the corruption.

This should cure all your ills for Office 2000 and Publisher.

You can get a program from the MS website called "msicu.exe" and there is a
second one required for Disk 2 of Office. Read the instructions with these
files carefully, and fully understand how they work, but they will/should
cure your ills.

Before re-installing Office and Publisher, download and install the new
version of the Windows Installer.
