Mixing Office Application Versions

I anticipate buying a Vista Home Premium Laptop with Office 2007 Standard
Edition (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). I current have Office 2000 that
includes Publisher 2000. Could I install Publisher 2000 on this laptop. I
have the OEM Office 2000 Small Business Edition CDs?

An OEM edition is licensed to the PC it was supplied with, and as such is
not transferable to a new PC
