Mixing Shared Borders With Tables in Layout

I want to use Shared Borders with Tables for my web-site's
pages' layout. Whereas I want only the top 3 rows to be
included in the top shared border, the entire table is
being included. What are my options? Can I re-define the
shared border to only-include the desired rows or do I
have to install the table-portion of the layout only after
I have already defined the shared borders?

You have to insert into the shared border exactly what you want to appear on
your pages. Tables, etc. can not be split across any type of includes.
