Mixing upper and lower case, Bad idea?

I have a file that was typed in upper/lower. Done long time ago by an
assistant.

Then Several new pages I typed in all upper case for few pages.

I Resorted.

When it prints out. Some rows look too light a streaked in middle.

Now as I experiment with different fonts and sizes, it turns out that some
of the rows that looked bad now look good, but many other rows that looked
good are now print bad. It goes on like this ........

I don't think Excel it adept at handling lot of mixing with the cases ,
correct?
