mobil device

I have MS Project 2002 and 2003, and I would like to be
adble to start/edit projects on a mobil device. I
currently have an older Palm (505) but I am thinking of
upgrading.

Does anyone know of a mobil version of MS Project?

They have laptop computers and notebooks that are portable. There's no palm
version.

There are no, nor are there ever likely to be, more mobile versions of
Microsoft Project than now provided by laptops and tablet PC's, until
the computers that run XP (or whatever is needed for Microsoft Project)
get "more mobile" ... whatever that means.

I personally am satisfied with a laptop since any smaller they keyboard
gets too small.

That being said hand-held computers (Palm, Windows CE, etc.) and phones
are ever increasing in power. Someday the same program you run on the
desktop/laptop will be in your phone or visa versa or both.

Meantime, the trick seems to be to build into the mobile units only
those pieces that are needed to supplement Project. I know there are
products out there, but I don't have a full list and I can't think where
the list may exist. (Maybe something I might do).

I am aware of Project@Hand only because I found reference to the web
site http://www.natara.com/ProjectAtHand/index.cfm at one point. Looks
very interesting. For the right people in the right organisation who
would respond to using such a thing, it might be the sort of the thing
you are looking for. Probably not a strategic solution, but may do
something worthwhile for a project team that uses Palms. (not all
construction superintendents, foreman, and managers are enthusiastic
gizmo users!)
