I've been through the help files, the google groups, and various other
sources. Using Outlook 2003, Workstation, Exchange Server:
I have a contacts folder (not the default). I want to modify the
journal entry form that is used to enter journal items for a particular
contact. In essence, what I want to be able to do is click on the
Journal Entry tool button or double click on the activities page of the
Contact.
As best I can tell, there is no way to designate a custom journal form
that is automatically opened for a particular folder. Outlook will
always open the default journal form when clicking on the new journal
entry button. (I realize I can choose the form and then enter the
information and that it would be relatively simple to code a toolbar
button. ) Correct? If I am wrong, then please tell me how.
Moreover, I haven't been able to modify the default Journal Form (and
I'm not talking about the first page) to accomodate my needs. When I
modify it, and then publish I am prompted for a new name for the form.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
